I’m Tyler McLain. I’ve spent years mastering extreme and outdoor sports, and I’m here to help you do the same — safely, confidently, and with real progression. Die Hard Athletics isn’t just training; it’s a community, a philosophy, and a path to mastering the skills you love.
The methodology is based on the National Academy of Sports Medicine’s Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model, adapted for extreme and outdoor sports:
Stabilize: Build a strong foundation — balance, core control, and safe movement patterns to keep you injury-free.
Strengthen: Develop functional strength that translates directly to your sport — better climbing, smoother MTB handling, and more endurance on trails.
Maximize Output: Refine power, speed, and skill precision so you perform at your highest level when it matters most.
